Elizabeth Neumeyer, Mezzo-Soprano is entering her third year as an Undergraduate at University of the Pacific Conservatory of music. Ranging from performances in New York to California, Neumeyer’s rich and distinctive timbre has been featured in operatic engagements across the country . Most recently, Neumeyer has sung roles such as La Badessa in Puccini’s “Suor Angelica”, Bradamante in Händel’s “Alcina”, and Dritte Dame in Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte”. In addition to her operatic roles, Neumeyer has a nuanced background in Musical Theater, most notably singing the roles of Netty Fowler in “Carousel” by Rodgers and Hammerstein and The Witch in “Into the Woods” by Sondheim. Apart from the productions that she has been involved with, Neumeyer has received various awards such as the Babylon Chorale’s summer scholarship, the eVoco Voice Collective’s Young artist award, and most recently winning Opera Modesto’s Kristina Townsend Memorial competition in her respective division. Neumeyer is currently a student of accomplished Tenor, Daniel Ebbers, and has been mentored previously by Sopranos Dr. Sherry Overholt, and Jennifer Grimaldi-Toohey. She thanks the three of them for the thoughtfulness and care that they have put into nurturing her vocal development. Neumeyer is thrilled to display her artistry whenever she is able, and is beyond grateful for the opportunity to continue growing as an operatic professional.
